A beautiful pub in the heart of the village.
The pub has a long history and some of that history can be seen on the walls inside.
The pub has a traditional menu and serves food from 12pm every day. For a great traditional Sunday roast it is advisable to book in advance. A full menu is also available on a Sunday, so if you just wanted a light meal then the staff are only too happy to take your order.
We have a large car park at the rear of the building with a wonderful garden. There is a play area outside for the children and a new undercover heated area for the smoking population.
The pub has different guest ales on all the time, which also include locally brewed real ales such as Frog Island & Hoggleys. For Entertainment we have a pool table, darts, cards, dominoes and a skittle table. We also have a Quiz every Wednesday night starting at 9pm. Friday nights is music of which we alternate Live music and karaoke. There is also a function available for hire for parties, meetings etc. One of the main features in the pub is the open fire. It sets a good atmosphere which is warm and welcoming
